Variant imports are sensitive to row width, option columns, SKUs, prices, and inventory fields. A single unquoted comma can shift every value after it into the wrong column.

Protect the fields that matter

Tell the preflight which fields must not change. The deterministic transformer compares protected fields before delivery and blocks the package if any value would change.
